Join our Community Panel

Do you live or work in Margate or nearby? Are you interested in the creative growth of the town?

If you have answered yes to these two questions, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for creative individuals and representatives of Margate’s diverse communities to become members of our Community Panel.

Our vision is to develop a thriving, resilient and innovative creative sector that provides inclusive enterprise, employment, and learning opportunities for people living and working in Margate and the surrounding area.

We aim to establish Margate as one of the most prominent creative production hubs in the UK.

As well as purchasing physical space in Margate, part of our remit is to deliver community programmes to support inclusive and sustainable practice in the creative industries.

The MCLT Community Panel will support us in the development and co-design of our outreach and support programme(s) to ensure that the offer that we build and deliver meets the needs of Margate’s communities.

Meetings will take place once every three-months.  The Community Panel will be established for approximately one year in the first instance.
