The Role:

Margate Creative Land Trust is recruiting for an Executive Assistant. This is a new role for the Trust and we are looking for a well-organised, detail-oriented, good all-rounder to work closely with the team and our board, and to ensure that the office runs smoothly.

As well as providing broad administrative support across the Trust, this role offers the chance to grow within the team and help drive the evolution of the Trust as it evolves from start-up to project development and building operations.

The postholder will be working closely with the Executive team as well as supporting Board meetings and trustee requirements. There are also opportunities for the postholder to be involved in supporting specific projects or events, such as community engagement, creative sector support, marketing and communications, and property research and development activities.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, adaptable, proactive and comfortable engaging with a broad range of people, across a variety of initiatives and environments. We are a new organisation transitioning from start-up to delivery, and are looking for people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

This is a 0.6 FTE role, and we are open to hybrid working arrangements with 2 days a week based in the Margate office.

This role is suited for someone with experience of the Charity, Public sector and/or Creative and Cultural sectors.
